• Allowing candidates to register, upload CVs, and maintain a candidate profile
• Facilitating matching between candidates and clients for employment opportunities
• (Future) Providing clients with a portal to manage job listings and view candidate profiles

We do not guarantee that registering with us will result in employment or hiring.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

4. Accounts

• Candidates may register directly via the App.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent CVs or job postings
• Use our services for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Copy, scrape, or otherwise harvest data from our website or App without permission
• Post or transmit spam, malware, or harmful content

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. User Content & Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of any CVs, job descriptions, or other content you upload.
• By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, store, reproduce, and share that content with potential employers or clients for recruitment purposes.

Our Content

• All other content on the website and App, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by Rookmere Limited or our licensors.
• You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy at rookmere.com/privacy.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

We make no guarantees that our services will be error-free or uninterrupted.

We are not responsible for:

• Failure to secure employment or hire staff
• Losses resulting from the actions of candidates, clients, or third parties
• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim is limited to £100.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you breach these Terms or engage in activities we deem harmful.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England, Wales, and Scotland.
• Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
